Congratulations on your decision to be a UMFK Bengal! You made a great choice and we want to ensure your smooth transition to UMFK. Please know that during this time, your health and the health of our University of Maine at Fort Kent community is of utmost concern. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to transition our Spring 2021 New Student Orientation to a virtual format. While we will miss seeing you in person, we have created an online orientation that provides an overview of campus resources and tips to help you gain a better understanding of what it takes to succeed at UMFK.
We look forward to meeting you virtually soon!
Virtual New Student Orientation is a one-day, mandatory experience for all new first year and transfer students.
Students are recommended to register to attend Spring 2021 Virtual Orientation. Students can register to attend the virtual orientation sessions by completing the web form found HERE.
Students will be able to access the virtual orientation sessions via links on the Orientation Schedule webpage.
Orientation sessions provide students an opportunity to interact with multiple university offices to learn about their services and resources which can support you during your time at UMFK and to virtually meet your faculty and fellow classmates.
All family and friends who wish to attend the orientation sessions are welcome. There is even a special sessions just for parents and guardians to ask any questions they may have about topics such as academics, health and safety, and support services.
