Fort Kent Outdoor Center & Lonesome Pine Trails 1:00 PM start at the Outdoor Center

WHO CAN COMPETE?

All community members who can cross-country ski, snowshoe, and/or downhill ski are welcome! One person can compete in all three legs, or teams can compete relay style. Prizes will be awarded for Fastest Individual, Fastest Team, Youngest Racer, Oldest Racer, Most Bengal Spirit, Rookie Rockstar, and Judges’ Choice! Children must be accompanied by an adult and are the sole responsibility of the adult.

WHERE WILL I GO?

  1. Cross Country Ski from the Fort Kent Outdoor Center Lodge around the Waska loop and Volunteer Way, a total of 3.0K.
  2. Snowshoe from the Fort Kent Outdoor Center Lodge to the warming hut at the top of Lonesome Pine Trails, a total of 1.85K.
  3. Downhill ski to the finish line at Lonesome Pine Trails via the Founders Trail.

Shuttles between Lonesome Pines and FKOC will be available.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Registration is $20.00 ($10.00 for students) for individuals or $15.00 per racer for relay teams. After you register, you will receive a sponsor sheet.

WHY WOULD I DO THIS?

Because it will be FUN!! And by joining forces with the UMFK Alumni Association, you will contribute to the spirit of unity between UMFK and our community. This fundraiser impacts students and alumni of UMFK – many of whom live and work in the St. John Valley. Your involvement helps foster a sense of community, strengthens alumni connections, and supports vital initiatives at UMFK.
