Regardless of your initial port of entry into the U.S., all flights to Presque Isle International Airport connect through Newark Liberty International Airport (airport code: EWR) on United Airlines. Once you’ve arrived in Presque Isle, you’ll need to arrange travel from the airport to Fort Kent. Regional taxi services are available that will bring students from PQI to Fort Kent. Uber and Lyft ride-sharing services are also options in the area, but availability cannot be guaranteed at your arrival time. Therefore, it’s recommended that you make arrangements ahead of time for your transportation from Presque Isle to Fort Kent. Make sure when contacting any of these companies that they know your destination to the University of Maine at Fort Kent (if living on campus) so they can accurately price your fare.
