Brief Biography

Dr. Lavoie is an Associate Professor of Behavioral Science. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of the Cumberlands, her Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (MAIS) – Maine Studies from the University of Maine, and her Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling (CLRC) from the University of Southern Maine. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor and a certified rehabilitation counselor.

Dr. Lavoie enjoys reading; her favorite genres are murder mysteries and psychological fiction. On most days when the weather cooperates, she looks forward to spending time outside walking while listening to an audio book.
