The University of Maine at Fort Kent will host its annual “Sucrerie” on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Nowland Hall.
The event features a traditional maple taffy pull on the snow, an Acadian meal, and live entertainment by The Acadian Singers.
A nominal fee of $15 per plate will be charged for the Acadian meal and entertainment.
The maple taffy served over the snow, located outside of Nowland Hall, is free. Northwoods Nectar (Holly Hardwick and volunteers) will be onsite.
All ployes will be served by UMFK employees wearing Acadian attire. (Taylor Brown, Jill Caron, Emma Hevey, and Madeline Soucie)
