UMFK Biology lead faculty member, Ned Rubert Nason and natural science students Tatiana and Nick attended the Maine State Science Festival in Bangor this weekend. They gave public demonstrations throughout the day on “Breathing Forests” — which discussed photosynthesis, climate change, and how forests store carbon.

From the Maine Science Festival website: The Maine Science Festival is the first and only science festival in Maine. The MSF launched in 2015 and is a celebration of national and world-leading science and the Mainers who do it.
