The University of Maine at Fort Kent Forestry Program and St. John Valley Technology Center (SJVTC) have entered into a unique agreement that will focus on providing graduates of SJVTC’s forestry program the opportunity to achieve a degree in a shortened period of time.
The University of Maine at Fort Kent has not only made the Washington Monthly’s annual Bachelor’s College Rankings, but has moved up by 21 spots. UMFK was also named 38th out of 250 colleges in the publication’s “Best Bang for the Buck: Northeast” rankings.

The University of Maine at Fort Kent is pleased to announce that recently hired full-time professor of Public Safety and Criminal Justice, Marilyn Epp, was recently awarded the Investigative Achievement Award by the Department of Justice. Ms. Epp earned this award for her outstanding work on one of her Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) cases before being hired by UMFK.
