On Saturday,June 13, two “birders” will teach us about our feathered friends andhelp us identify them by sound and sight.Amanda Dumusz, regional wildlife resource supervisor, Maine Department InlandFisheries and Wildlife, Ashland and Shawn Morneault, a member of the Aroostook Birders, Madawaska.
Did youknow… we have over 30 bird species around our venue and trails during thespring and summer?
We willbegin our indoor session in the Lodge at 8 a.m., then head outside at 8:30 a.m. This is a rain-or-shine event, so come prepared.
We will beusing a fun birding app called Merlin, from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Ifyou have a chance, download the app ahead of time.
