Due to the winter storm, UMFK will close Thursday, February 13, at midnight and reopen Friday, February 14th, for regularly scheduled classes and activities. All buildings will be closed except for Nowland Hall, which will be operated for meals as usual. Only residents, Nowland employees, and identified essential facilities personnel should report to work or be on campus Thursday during the closure. All others are asked to please remain off campus. NOAA has advised people to stay indoors and limit traveling on the roadways. If you must be outside, dress warmly in layers, cover all exposed skin, and avoid getting wet.
