UMFK Summer Theatre performers to present "A Midsummer Night's Dream"

The University of Maine at Fort Kent Summer Theatre is proud to present the comedy classic, A Midsummer Night's Dream, by William Shakespeare. Performances will run from Thursday, July 29 through Sunday, August 1 at UMFK’s Fox Auditorium.

Thursday through Saturday performances will begin at 7 p.m. and the Sunday matinee will begin at 2 p.m. The duration of the play is 90 minutes. Admission is $7 per person for the general public, and UMFK students with a valid ID attend free.
The play explores the hilarious results of a collision between the human and supernatural worlds one night in the forest. “Most of the show is a crazy, magic filled chase,” says director Corey Gagne.
“We are very proud that our summer theatre program is continuing to build,” says Aaron Bernstein, producer. “We have over 30 cast and crew members of all ages from UMFK, the local school district, and the community at large.”
