The University of Maine at Fort Kent, Northern Maine Medical Center, and local emergency responders will hold a mock disaster drill on Tuesday, October 6 at 6 p.m. in the Fox Auditorium on the UMFK campus.

In addition to personnel from UMFK and NMMC, participants will include personnel from the Fort Kent Police Department; the Fort Kent Fire Department; and Fort Kent Emergency Medical Services.
A gross decontamination staging area will be set up outside of the affected area, attended by fire department responders. A second decontamination staging area will be located outside of Northern Maine Medical Center, prior to victims being admitted to the emergency room.
