Photo: Men's Soccer Team Teach Good Sportsmanship

October 9, 2007

The University of Maine at Fort Kent men’s soccer team assisted Fort Kent’s Cub Scout Pack 189, Den 7, with some activities needed to complete the Athletic and Sportsman requirements as Webelo Cub Scouts. The team explained to the scouts what it means to be physically fit and what good sportsmanship means. They also assisted with athletic requirements including curl-ups, push-ups, standing long jump, 50 yard dash, vertical jump and quarter mile run. They ended the evening’s session with a scrimmage between teams.
