The Valley's rock 'n' roll band, Boomer-ang, will play at the University of Maine Fort Kent Foundation sponsored fall performance on Sunday, October 26 at 2 p.m. at the University's Fox Auditorium.

Boomer-ang, which includes Dan Chasse, Alain Bois, Reno 'Biz' Gagnon, and Dave Rossignol, has been playing together and entertaining throughout the Valley and beyond. The band members are longtime Fort Kent Lion's Club members. The group covers many different genres of music.

The group performs locally for several organizations, such as the Fort Kent Lion's Variety Show, the 10th Mountain Outdoor Club and the Lonesome Pines Trails fundraisers.

The UMFK Foundation supports scholarships for students, student and faculty research, special projects, cultural events, library collections, and other campus investments.

Tickets for the performance are $10 each and are available through the UMFK Development Office, located at the Madawaska House, or by calling Linda Deprey at (207) 834-7800.
