The University of Maine at Fort Kent recently dedicated the Lowell E. Daigle Conference Room in the newly-renovated Powell Hall.  A brief, but personal ceremony was attended by family and friends, and was highlighted by remembrances of Lowell Daigle by four of her former students or colleagues.  Dr. Daigle was an associate professor of anthropology and sociology and chair of the Natural and Behavior al Sciences Division.  She taught at UMFK from 1969 to 1996.
