Tickets Available for UMFK Foundation Dinner Theatre

The Board of Directors of the University of Maine at Fort Kent Foundation is pleased to announce that Annie Royer, international cabaret jazz singer, will perform at the Foundation's seventh annual dinner theatre, scheduled for Saturday, April 14 on the UMFK campus.

The evening will begin with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m., both in Nowland Hall. Annie Royer will perform at 8 p.m. in Fox Auditorium. A post-performance reception will be held at 9 p.m. in the Nadeau Hall Teleconference Room.

Tickets to the event are $50 per person, which includes the social, five-course meal, performance, and post-performance reception. Tickets are available through UMFK Foundation Directors and at the University's Development office, located in the Madawaska House, on Pleasant Street.

Corporate gold, silver, and bronze sponsorships also are available at $1,000, $500 and $250 levels. The gold level sponsorship includes one table of eight seats, a listing in the evening's program, and display of a corporate sign or banner. The silver level sponsorship includes one table of six seats and a listing in the evening's program. The bronze level sponsorship includes two tickets and a listing in the evening's program. Deadline for corporate sponsorship is Friday, March 23.

Annie Royer, native of Paris, France, has captivated audiences on both sides of the Atlantic with her musical and dramatic talents and her Gallic charm.Her repertoire ranges from her specialty – soulful and haunting renditions of cabaret songs à la Edith Piaf - to other popular French tunes (Chevalier, Montant, Trenet, Mistinguette, Becaud and Aznavour), and lively performances of Broadway and jazz favorites. Annie will be accompanied by accordion player Roberto Cassan and pianist Eitan Kenner.The French have a word for this wonderful, professional international cabaret jazz singer and performer -- extraordinaire.
