The University of Maine at Fort Kent nursing faculty and nursing students of Family Health II (Pediatrics) will host its annual pediatric health fair at the UMFK Sports Center.
The fair will be held on Tuesday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for 3rd to 7th grade students from Fort Kent, Wallagrass, Eagle Lake and St. Francis elementary schools.
The coordinators of the event are Erin Soucy, UMFK director of nursing; Kim Martin, UMFK adjunct family health instructor; and the junior class nursing students.

Twenty-six junior nursing students also will be involved by designing and manning six booths, which will be set-up with various topics that includes: nutrition, physical fitness, hygiene, oral care, safety, and smoking prevention.
