The University of Maine at Fort Kent's Alumni Association will host its fourth annual talent show fundraiser on Saturday, February 7, at 7 p.m. in the UMFK Fox Auditorium, and the line-up is showing that the Valley has a number of local voices and entertainers.

The show will feature a variety of talented people for the public to enjoy, including vocal, instrumental, and dance performances.

The following will perform for a fun night of entertainment: Bruno Hicks; Dance Dynamics; Charles Ouellette; Jeremy Shapiro with Scott Brickman; Cyrious Movement; Les Chanteurs Acadien; Charles Parham; Circus Yoga; John Hausmann; and Bailey Beaulieu with Charles Stewart.

The emcee of the evening will be UMFK Alumni Association's Board Member, Ray Phinney.

“We have some great acts returning from years past and I am looking forward to the opportunity to see them returning to the stage. I am equally thrilled for the debut of new entries. I am sure it will be an evening worth experiencing,” said Jennifer Parizo, chair of the fundraiser.

The proceeds will benefit the UMFK Alumni Association scholarship fund, which the association awards to a current UMFK student each year. The proceeds will also go to the Greater Fort Kent Ecumenical Food Pantry.

People can purchase tickets at the door on the evening of the performance at $5 per person. A snow date has been scheduled for Sunday, February 8.
