The University of Maine at Fort Kent will offer a free night of cross-country skiing and a "how to class" on ski waxing on Friday, January 26 from 6 p.m. to closing at the 10th Mountain Ski Center, 33 Paradis Circle, in Fort Kent.
The free night of skiing and instruction is open to students, faculty, and members of the community. The UMFK ski team will be on-hand to help individuals who may need assistance in learning how to ski.
Refreshments will be available in the Ski Center's lodge throughout the evening.
Free transportation to and from the Ski Center is available for those who need it by calling Jason Gayne at 834-8611 by 4:30 p.m. on January 26.
