“Congratulations Ray, on behalf of the entire selection committee, it is my distinct pleasure and honor to announce that you, Ray, have been awarded a “Campus Event Planner of the Year” award in the ‘Best Overall Event’ category for 2009. Congratulations,” wrote Robert H. Johnson, Jr. President/CEO of Power Performers, Inc.

“You stood out among your peers at over 1,700 campuses nationwide to be honored during this, our inaugural Campus Event Planner Awards. This award was created to honor the hard work and dedication that you put forth creating memorable campus activities and events during 2009 for your students,” Johnson added.
The award’s selection committee decided that UMFK’s presentation of ESP/Mentalist, Robert Channing, qualified Phinney for the award.
Phinney is expected to receive a plaque, acknowledging his achievement, later this month.
