Thirty-six fiddlers and other musicians from throughout Aroostook County and western New Brunswick performed at the largest jam session and house party during the annual Fiddlers’ Jamboree which was held on the University of Maine at Fort Kent campus. Of the 36 musicians, more than a dozen strong attended the event, were from Canada. The event brings together talented musicians for an afternoon of impromptu performances. The jamboree is very successful and attendance continues to grow with peoples’ feet stomping and cameras rolling.
