Katie Bell a student at the University of Maine at Fort Kent is a recent winner of a round trip ticket on American Airlines good for anywhere in the continental United States.
This past fall ARAMARK, UMFK's contracted dining service, provider, in partnership with Miller-Williams a consultant firm, provided a chance for UMFK students to rate campus dining. The survey was made available nationally to various college campuses, including UMFK.
Students participating filled out the survey individually and dropped it into the contest entry box allowing them a chance at the prized ticket.
In appreciation for the time taken to respond to the survey, Bell was chosen as the winning student.
"This is a very in-depth survey that keeps our relations with the students in the forefront so we can supply what our customers want on demand," said Jason Carter, manager for ARAMARK's dining service at UMFK.
"I was very excited about winning, I told everyone. I never win anything," said Bell.
With spring break around the corner, Bell plans on visiting her uncle in Las Vegas.
Another survey will be conducted this spring.
