UMFK Foundation 2010 Annual Dinner Set For Saturday, April 10

The Board of Directors of the University of Maine at Fort Kent Foundation is pleased to announce its Annual Dinner fundraiser event will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Nowland Hall on the UMFK campus.

Musical entertainment for the evening will be provided by Suzanne Nance an accomplished soprano operatic singer. She will be accompanied by George Sebastian Lopez, on the piano.
Nance studied music and communications at Syracuse University and received a master’s degree in voice performance from DePaul University in Chicago. Most recently, she has performed in Prague, London, Philadelphia, Chicago, New York, and with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and Portland Symphony Orchestra. Nance currently is the music director for Maine Public Broadcasting Network, where she produces and hosts the weekday morning classical music program from 9 a.m. to noon.
The evening will begin with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. Suzanne Nance will perform at 8 p.m. in Fox Auditorium. A post-performance reception will be held at 9 p.m. in the Nadeau Hall Teleconference Room
Tickets to the event are $50 per person, which includes the social, dinner, admission to the performance, and the post-performance reception. Tickets are available through UMFK Foundation directors and also at the University’s Development Office, located in the Madawaska House.  Tickets to the performance only, are priced at $10.
Corporate gold, silver and bronze sponsorships also are available at $1,000, $500 and $250 levels respectively. The gold level sponsorship includes one table of eight, a listing in the evening’s program, display of a corporate sign or banner, and recognition at the dinner. The silver level sponsorship includes one table of six, a listing in the evening’s program and recognition at the dinner. The bronze level sponsorship includes two tickets, a listing in the evening’s program and recognition at the dinner.
