UMFK'S ROGER ROY ELECTED REGIONAL SECRETARY-TREASURER OF INTERNATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF BUSINESS EDUCATION

University of Maine at Fort Kent Associate Professor of Mathematics and Business, Dr. Roger A. Roy, was elected secretary-treasurer of the New England chapter of the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), at the assembly’s regional meeting in Uncasville, Connecticut last month. 

The IACBE accredits business degree programs in colleges and universities throughout the United States and internationally. 

The IACBE is the accrediting body for UMFK’s professional management programs (Business Management, Rural Public Safety Administration, Electronic Commerce, and Computer Applications).  UMFK has been accredited by the IACBE since 2007.  

The IACBE is the premier professional accreditor for business programs in student-centered colleges and universities throughout the world. 

The IACBE exists to promote, develop, and recognize excellence in business education. 

The IACBE’s philosophy of accreditation is centered on student learning and operational outcomes, which makes it flexible and adaptable.  ###
