The University of Maine at Fort Kent has released its men's and women's soccer schedule for the 2005 season.
A home tourney opener for the men is set for September 3 and 4. The Bengals will host Thomas College of Waterville, University of Maine at Machias, and the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
On the following weekend, September 10 and 11, UMFK will compete in a tournament at UMPI along with Maine Maritime Academy of Castine and Husson College of Bangor.
The regular home openers for the men will take place September 17 against College of St. Joseph of Vermont and September 18 when Lyndon State College of Vermont visits UMFK. These two contests will be played during Come to Campus Days.
The Lady Bengals hit the road September 3 and 4 to play in a tourney hosted by UMPI followed by a home tournament at the Fort Kent campus on September 10 and 11 with Thomas College, MMA and UMPI.
First regular season home matches for the UMFK women are scheduled during Come to Campus Days September 17 versus College of St. Joseph and September 18 against Lyndon State College.
The UMFK teams visits rival UMPI at Presque Isle September 24.
Returning to coach the UMFK Bengals is Lucas Levesque of Frenchville.
Coaching the UMFK men's team will be Larry Murphy of Fort Kent.
