UMFK to host Classic and Custom Car Show during Homecoming and Scarecrow Festival

The University of Maine at Fort Kent will host the annual UMFK Classic and Custom Car Show Saturday September 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the University campus.

The event is free of charge to the public. The car show will be an informal gathering of people who enjoy classic and customized vehicles. The show is being coordinated by John Metz.
UMFK invites all classic and custom vehicle owners from the area to bring their classic or custom cars, trucks, motorcycles, or sport utility vehicles to campus to display them.
Carl Theriault, owner of Valley Auto in Fort Kent, will provide awards for the judged classes.
Participants in the car show also are invited to participate in the annual “UMFK Homecoming/ Scarecrow Festival” parade. Please pre-register through the UMFK alumni office at 207- 834-7557 or by email at:
