A Helping Hand - Members of the University of Maine Fort Kent women's volleyball team and head coach Dustin Nadeau spent the day volunteering for the 2010 Cam-Am Crown International Sled Dog Races by working the Portage checkpoint. They worked as team handlers and assisted the mushers and race timers with guiding the teams as they arrived and departed from the first checkpoint. Shown here are (l to r) local volunteer Kate Morneault (Fort Kent); Kumiko Chow (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada); Anabell Chang (Palm Springs, California); Callie Rigsby (Temecula, California) and local volunteer Andrea Nadeau (Saint Francis, Maine).
