Students who completely miss without action or cause at least two consecutive academic semesters (excluding summer) will be required to complete a readmission application in the Admissions Office. Pending confirmation of no pre-existing negative service indicators from the Business Office, Financial Aid Office, Registrar’s Office, or Academic Affairs, the student will be reinstated to a degree status. The purpose of the readmittance process is to ensure that students do possess the academic qualifications to return to UMFK and to ensure that negative service indicators are taken care of if they exist. If, while the student was away they completed courses at another institution, the student would be required to submit official copies of those transcripts and would be considered a transfer applicant.
