Policy: Students with an account balance and a past due account hold should see the following UMFK official to attempt to make payment arrangements:
Owe less than $1,000.00 student must see Administrative Specialist II.
Owe between $1,000.00 and $5,000.00 student must see Director of Administrative Services.
Owe greater than $5,000.00 student must see Vice President for Administration.
If payment arrangements are not followed, serious ramifications will occur and may affect the student and their future at UMFK. The student will be prevented from registering for any upcoming semester until the amount promised via payment plan or promissory note at the beginning of the semester is paid. Transcripts will not be released, and withdrawal from the current semester’s classes may occur.
If the University is unable to collect on a student account, the account may be sent to an outside collection agency.
