Core faculty will be permitted to teach at the recommendation of the respective division chair and the VPAA a maximum of 16 credit hours per semester inclusive of hours credited for release time. Exceptions to this policy may only be granted in extraordinary circumstances by the vice president for academic affairs following a specific request and recommendation from the respective division chair.
