As a result of a directive to University of Maine System campuses by the University of Maine System Office, a course taken on a Pass/Fail basis, the “P” or pass grade is representative of work done in the “C” range (ie- C-/C/C+) or higher. “D” grade equivalents will not be given a “P” going forward. This change was affirmed by the Faculty Assembly 12/03.
