About the Registrar's Office

The Registrar's Office maintains the official academic records for current and former students of the University of Maine at Fort Kent. The office is responsible for course registration and changes to student biographic information. The office staff is also committed to providing quality service, maintaining the integrity of academic student records, and protecting students' right to privacy. Some of the major functions of the office include:

  • Registering for classes
  • Adding and dropping classes
  • Grade processing
  • Maintaining and updating academic records
  • Reviewing graduation applications
  • Completing student enrollment verifications
  • Processing veteran's educational benefits

Specific areas in which the Registrar's Office is of service to students and faculty include:

  • Providing Advisors with lists of advisees
  • Completing student enrollment verification forms
  • Certifying student Social Security benefits
  • Processing student address changes
  • Processing change of Major, Minor, or Degree applications
  • Printing the Schedule of Classes
  • Processing grade changes
  • Providing information on auditing courses
  • Information on transfer to the other University of Maine System campuses
  • Requesting transcripts of grades
  • Certifying Veteran educational benefits

The Registrar's Office is located at the UMFK One Stop in Cyr Hall. Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
