The University of Maine at Fort Student Activities is pleased to announce a performance by Eight Strings and a Whistle on Sunday afternoon, March 16 at 2 p.m. in Fox Auditorium on the UMFK campus.
The University of Maine at Fort Kent Foundation will present its annual dinner/performance fundraising event on Saturday, April 12, 2014 beginning at 5 p.m. This year's musical entertainment will be provided by jazz, blues, and improvisational pianist, David Maxwell, of Boston.
The University of Maine at Fort Kent is preparing for the area's largest jam session and house party for music lovers at its annual Fiddlers' Jamboree, which will be held on Sunday, March 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. in UMFK's Fox Auditorium. The doors will open to the public at 12:30 p.m.

The University of Maine at Fort Kent Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is extremely proud to announce that James Harvey from Fort Kent, Maine will be honored as the inaugural recipient of the Floyd “Red” Powell Award to be presented at the seventh annual UMFK Athletic Hall of Fame Induction dinner and ceremony, Saturday March 22 at the UMFK Sports Center in Fort Kent, Maine.
The Acadian Archives acadiennes of the University of Maine at Fort Kent will host a presentation by Ghislain Savoie on the 2004-2005 archaeological digs that he coordinated in Belleisle in the Port Royal Colony. The presentation will be held on Thursday, February 6 at 7 p.m. in the Nadeau Hall Teleconference Room. The event is free and open to the public.
