FY16 Academic Development Awards

The following faculty have been awarded funds for travel and projects for the FY16 budget year:

  • Peter Nelson was awarded funds to continue to study the vegetation at DeBoullie Public Reserves in Northern Maine from June 1-August 15, 2015.
  • David Hobbins was awarded funds to attend the iGETT Institute in South Dakota from June 19-July 1, 2015.
  • Krishna Kaphle was awarded funds to attend the 18th Annual Legacy of R.L. Moore-IBL Conference in Austin, Texas from June 25-27, 2014.
  • Rachel Albert was awarded funds to attend the 2015 Summer Global Nursing Symposium in Riverside, California from July 17-19, 2015.
  • Anthony Gauvin was awarded funds to attend the Community Development Society/International Conference & Annual Meeting in Lexington, Kentucky from July 18-22, 2015.
  • Raymond Albert was awarded funds to attend the SAM 2015 International Conference on Security & Management in Las Vegas, Nevada from July 25-31, 2015.
  • Cheryl Roberts was awarded funds to attend the Maine Association of Healthcare Quality Conference in Portland, Maine in October 2015.
  • Scott Brickman was awarded funds to attend the SCI Society of Composers, Inc. Region I Conference in Orono, Maine from October 21-25, 2015.
  • Nicole Boudreau was awarded funds to attend the Association des Professeurs des Litteratures Acadienne et Quebecoise de L’Atlantique International Colloquium in St. John, New Brunswick from October 23-25, 2015.
  • Anthony Gauvin was awarded funds to attend the Fall Board of Directors Meeting for the Community Development Society in Minneapolis, Minnesota from November 12-15, 2015.
  • Nicole Boudreau was awarded funds to attend the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Annual Convention in San Diego, California from November 20-22, 2015.
