DESCRIPTION:Walk in memory or support of those who have lost someone to suicide. Suicide can be prevented. Join the movement! Registration begins at 9:00 a.m and walk begins at 10:00 a.m. The walk route consists of the Fort Kent “mills\,” a 2.8 mile loop through downtown Fort Kent.  The walk will begin and end at the Lion’s Pavilion. Proceeds go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to raise awareness\, provide education and support to survivors of suicide loss\, etc.  As always\, we promote this as a tobacco free event. DESCRIPTION:The crazy Olympics “field games” will be held at the Sports Centers front lawn. Student Athletic Advisory Committee members will be setting up classic lawn games like corn hole\, KanJam\, Ladderball\, 8-legged races\, and potato sack races\, etc. Additional stations will be set up to represent each of our athletic teams.  UMFK students who participate in each station will get a ticket for raffles.
