DESCRIPTION:Walk in memory or support of those who have lost someone to suicide. Suicide can be prevented. Join the movement!  Registration begins at 9:00 a.m and walk begins at 10:00 a.m. The walk route consists of the “Fort Kent Mills\,” a 2.8 mile loop through downtown Fort Kent. The walk will begin and end at the Lion’s Pavilion.  Proceeds go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to raise awareness\, provide education and support to survivors of suicide loss\, etc. As always\, we promote this as a tobacco free event. DESCRIPTION:Join the Moosetown Riders on Saturday\, October 10\, 2026 for an afternoon and evening of great food\, live music\, raffles\, and good company in Allagash! Bash in the Gash is first and foremost a FUNDRAISING EVENT for the Moosetown Riders Snowmobile Club. Our primary fundraising effort is focused on bringing our vision of a permanent groomer garage and clubhouse to life. This facility will finally give our club a place to call home\, provide much-needed storage and protection for our grooming equipment\, and help us better serve our members\, community\, and the many snowmobilers who visit Allagash each winter. We have been fortunate to secure $121\,000 through the Maine Trails Program toward the project\, but we still have a significant funding gap to close. DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Frenchville CommunityCenter on Dec 12th where you will find a large variety of local crafters\,vendors\, and bakers for a one stop Christmas Market filling up the two floors ofthe Community Center. \nSome of the many items offered will include Christmas décor\, knit items\,handcrafted soaps\, baking & cooking spices\, handmade jewelry\, home décor\,sweater mittens\, Norwex\, baked goods\, and so much more! There surely will be agift for everyone on your list. \n \nThere will be a delicious Chicken Stewmeal downstairs along with many other vendors. \nProceeds from our 50/50 raffle andBasket raffle will go to a local food pantry to help families in need.
