DESCRIPTION:Join us fora Birding Workshop at the Fort Kent Outdoor Center. \n \nSaturday\,June 13 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Fort Kent Outdoor Center’s Lodge.  Free admission. Donations welcome. \n \nCome learnabout birds.  \n \nOn Saturday\,June 13\, two “birders” will teach us about our feathered friends andhelp us identify them by sound and sight.  Amanda Dumusz\, regional wildlife resource supervisor\, Maine Department InlandFisheries and Wildlife\, Ashland and Shawn Morneault\,  a member of the Aroostook Birders\, Madawaska. \n \nDid youknow… we have over 30 bird species around our venue and trails during thespring and summer? \n \nWe willbegin our indoor session in the Lodge at 8 a.m.\, then head outside at 8:30 a.m. This is a rain-or-shine event\, so come prepared. \n \nWe will beusing a fun birding app called Merlin\, from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
