SUMMARY:Voices of the Borderland Open Forum
DESCRIPTION:Archives staff will share findings from the oral interviews on international travel restrictions they conducted among Valley residents.Dr. Lisa Lavoie\, an assistant professorof Behavioral Science who wrote her master’s thesis on borderland communities\,will also speak. The forum will provide audience members with the opportunityto share their experience of border restrictions\, including family hardships\, economiceffects\, challenges at ports of entry\, and testing requirements.\nThe event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.\nThis event is generously supported by the Maine Humanities Council.
