The small class sizes not only ensures that you get to ask questions and spend one on one time with the professors, but the professors get to know you personally and will recommend you for jobs and tell you about the many opportunities for you out in the world.

I spent the summer in Bangor, Maine doing cancer research at the Lafayette Family Center! It was a life changing experience, and I could write pages upon pages of how amazing my experience was there. While I was doing cancer research, a fellow researcher told me about medical volunteer experiences around the world, and that is how I came across this amazing opportunity in Africa that I am about to embark on.
