Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science

Lisa Lavoie has been an adjunct lecturer at UMFK for 10 years and was recently hired as an Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science. She graduated from UMFK in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Behavioral Science. In May 2015, she earned her Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (MAIS). In December 2019, she graduated from USM in December 2019 with a Master of Science is Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling (CLRC).

Lisa is an avid reader; her favorite genres are murder mystery and police procedurals. A lifelong learner who enjoys spending time with her family, she can frequently be found outside enjoying the beauty of Maine.
