The University of Maine at Fort Kent community will hold a press conference on Wednesday, August 24 to announce a new accolade bestowed on the campus by a national education and admission service.

UMFK President Richard Cost, accompanied by members of the university's faculty and staff, will make the announcement tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. in "The Lodge", UMFK's new residence hall, located near the SportsCenter on the opposite side of Pleasant Street from the main campus.

The honor, which was based on the responses of students in a national survey, comes two weeks before the start of classes for the fall semester at UMFK.
