Students taking six or more credit hours are given one free badge when they first enter the University. Bengal Badges are made at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. Students are charged $5.00 for a replacement badge, or if they don't get one until after they've been enrolled for more than one semester.

Bengal Badges contain a library bar code necessary for checking out materials. Bengal Badges are also used as a meal plan card, access to the Sports Center and special events on and off campus that offer special student discounts. All badges MUST be validated each semester. The Student Affairs Office provides the validation stickers upon proof of current enrollment.
