Sustainability Reference Database
Using the Sustainability References Search Engine
Brian Kermath compiled the original bibliographic database to over 4,200 entries. It is organized alphabetically by the authors' last names. Each page contains 10 entries. References may be accessed by Keywords, Category, or Alphabetical Listing. Instructions follow.
- To search the entire database by keyword, enter a term or terms in the "keywords" box and leave the "category" tab at the default setting of "all categories," then click the "search" button.
- To search by keyword within a category, select a "category" from the drop-down menu, then enter terms in the "keywords" box, then click "search."
- To browse within a single category, select the desired category, but leave the "keywords" box blank, then click "search."
- To browse the references alphabetically, select a letter after "Alphabetical Listing" then browse.
Although we continuously add entries and strive to include a range of topics and research approaches, the database is not exhaustive and reflects biases based on the compiler's interests and experiences in the field.
